SikaFiber®-12 PPF

FIBRILLATED MICRO-POLYMER FIBRE FOR USE IN DRY MORTAR AND CONCRETE

SikaFiber®-12 PPF is a special type of a synthetic micro-reinforcement. The typical application in mortar and concrete results in increased cohesion and stability in fresh concrete. Increased impact and shock resistance and reduced plastic shrinkage cracks in hardened concrete. SikaFiber®-12 PPF is not sensitive to alkalis.

Application Information

Compatibility

With SikaFiber®-12 PPF reinforced mortar and concrete can be pumped, installed, compacted and smoothed with common equipment and processes.

Dispensing

SikaFiber®-12 PPF is added to the dry mix in dry mortar plant, preferably with the aggregate.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

At least 600 g per m³ of fresh mortar and fresh concrete and/or 300 g per tonne of dry mortar and concrete. Approx. 900 g/m³ to improve impact resistance and up to 2 kg/m³ to achieve additional properties.
