Retardan®-200 P is a highly efficient set retarder in powder form for calcium sulphate (Gypsum) based binder systems.

Usage
Retardan®-200 P provides excellent performance in the adjustment of setting time and workability of calcium sulphate binders, especially in neutral to slightly alkaline alpha and beta-hemihydrate binders. The product is especially suitable for the following applications:- Production of self-levelling screeds and underlayments
- Production of moulding and modelling plaster
- Production of dental and medical plaster

Application
Compatibility
Retardan®-200 P may be combined with many other Sika products and most commonly uesed gypsum additives including superplasticizers, foaming agents / defoamers and stabilizers. In these combinations e.g. with Sika® ViscoCrete® superplasticizers additional improvements in flow and setting-time adjustment can also be achieved.

Dispensing
Retardan®-200 P is added directly to the dry-mix.
Recommended Dosage
Typical dosage range: 0.001 - 0.01 % by weight of binder
Differences in calcium sulphate binder type, raw material sources, calcining methods, age and storage conditions of the binder and other conditions and factors at the plant and/or on-site can also infuence the setting time of gypsum binders and therefore the dosage requirements of Retardan®-200 P.
