Sika® Stabilizer-165

Viscosity modifier for self-compacting concrete

Sika® Stabilizer-165 is a viscosity modifier in powder form. It is used to reduce or prevent bleeding and segregation of self-compacting concrete. Source-related fluctuations e. g. in water content are compensated by the viscosity modifier.

Shelf life

12 months shelf life from date of production if stored properly in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging.

Storage conditions

Dry storage at temperatures up to 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight.

Total Chloride Ion Content

≤ 0.1 %

Equivalent Sodium Oxide

< 3.0 %

Compatibility

Before use, an initial test according to DIN EN 206-1 / DIN 1045-2 is required

Dispensing

Sika® Stabilizer-165 is added to the aggregate, cement or dry mixture.
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

0.2 to 1.5% of cement or binder weight.
