Sika® PowerPack-25 MF

Superplasticizer compound for low emission Flow Screeds

Sika® PowerPack-25 MF is a powdery superplasticizer compound based on Sika® ViscoCrete® polycarboxylate polymer technology especially made for use in low emission anhydrite flow screeds.

Usage

Sika® PowerPack-25 MF is formulated to replace Melamine for applications in anhydrite binder systems. Sika® PowerPack-25 MF is used in a dosage comparable to Melamine.
Use in dry mortar industry to produce:
  • Dry mortar calcium sulphate flow screeds
  • Calcium sulphate binder mixture for ready mix flow screeds
  • Calcium sulphate binder mixture for mix mobile flow screeds
 

Advantages

Sika® PowerPack-25 MF works based on a combination of electrostatic forces and steric repulsion effects. Thus, solid particles can be effectively dispersed. The benefits include, but are not limited to the following:

Application Information

Dispensing

Sika® PowerPack-25 MF is added to the dry mix. For optimum utilisation of the high water reduction we recommend a minimal wet mixing time of 30 seconds for mortar.

Compatibility

Sika® PowerPack-25 MF may be combined with many other Sika® Products as well as with most existing accelerators, retarders and other additives used in dry-mortar applications.
Important: Always conduct trials before combining products in specific mixes and contact our technical service for information about specific combinations with Sika products.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

Depending on the application and the source of the binder, the dosage of Sika® PowerPack-25 MF varies from 0.35 to 2.5% of the binder content. At high dosage Sika® PowerPack-25 MF can cause retardation as well as at low temperatures.
