Superplasticizer compound for Calcium Sulphate Flow Screed

Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack is a powdery superplasticizer compound based on Sika® ViscoCrete® Polycarboxylate-Polymer-Technology especially for flow screed systems.

Usage

Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack, formulated for applications in cement and special anhydrite binder systems, used in the dry mortar industry to produce flowable screeds and mortars.
  • Dry mortar calcium sulphate flow screeds
  • Binder mixture for construction site flow screeds
  • Cementitious flowable mortar systems
 

Advantages

Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack works based on a combination of electrostatic forces and steric repulsion effects. Thus, solid particles can be dispersed effectively.

Compatibility

Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack may be combined with many other Sika® Products as well as with most existing accelerators, retarders and other additives used in dry-mortar applications. In combination i.e. with Sika® ViscoCrete® Powders improvements in flowability and retardation may be achieved.

Important: Always conduct trials before combining products in specific mixes and contact our technical service for information about specific combinations with Sika products.

Dispensing

Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack is added to the dry mix. For optimum utilisation of the high water reduction we recommend a minimal wet mixing time of 30 seconds for mortar.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

Depending on the application, the dosage of Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack varies from 0.1 to 0.2% of the binder content. At high dosage, Sika® ViscoCrete®-30 PowerPack can cause retardation as well as at low temperatures.
