SikaPaver®- 800 Color

Efflorescence reducer with filling and compaction aid for smooth surfaces

SikaPaver®- 800 Color is an efflorescence reducer for brilliant colored precast elements which incorporates a filling and compaction aid with anti-sticking effect. It has been developed especially for pavers with smooth surfaces.

  • Hydrophobic agent with filling and compaction aid for reduced efflorescence
  • More uniform and intensive coloration of the concrete with reduced risk of tamper head sticking
  • Increases Durability
    SikaPaver®- 800 Color improves the dispersion and wetting of cement, additives and pigments and hence allows reaching the target density in shorter time or the reduction of pore content at the same compaction effort.    
SikaPaver®- 800 Color increase the surface tension to the water and thus reduces the water adsorbing effect of the concrete.

12 months from date of production if stored properly in original, unopened packaging. After prolonged Storage, agitate the product before using.

Protect from frost, intense sunlight and contamination. In case of bulk delivery, the tanks and equipment used must be clean.

Application Information

Dispensing

SikaPaver®- 800 Color shall be added with the mixing water or introduced at the end of the mixing process.

The necessary mixing time after the admixture dosage depends on the individual mixer.

Restrictions

Before use suitability tests must be performed.

The reduction of the most common efflorescence (in the horizontal gaps between the individual layers of the paving stone package) requires a dense and hydropbobic concrete structure for both, base and facing mixes.

Sufficient compaction of base and face concrete is essential to ensure the targeted performance parameters of the manufactured semi-dry concrete elements. For further information and advice, please contact our Technical Service Department.

The use of SikaPaver®- 800 Color in wet cast concrete is not suitable.
