COMPACTION AID BASED ON PCE FOR DEMANDING SEMI-DRY CONCRETE PRODUCTS

SikaPaver® HC-320 is a high performance compaction aid for demanding semi-dry concrete products, based on the Sika ViscoCrete® Technology.

  • Less quality variations and consequently less second grade products
    SikaPaver® HC-320 improves the dispersion and wetting of cement, additives and pigments and hence allows reaching the target density in shorter time or the reduction of pore content at the same compaction effort.

Shelf life

12 months from date of production if stored properly in original, unopened packaging. After prolonged Storage, agitate the product before using.

Storage conditions

Protect from frost, intense sunlight and contamination. In case of bulk delivery, the tanks and equipment used must be clean.

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

SikaPaver® HC-320 shall be added with the mixing water or introduced at the end of the mixing process.

The necessary mixing time after the admixture dosage depends on the individual mixer and must be sufficient.

Restrictions

Before use suitability tests must be performed.

Sufficient compaction of base and face concrete is essential to ensure the targeted performance parameters of the manufactured semi-dry concrete elements. For further information and advice, please contact our Technical Service Department.

The use of SikaPaver® HC-320 in wet cast concrete is not suitable.

0.2 – 0.8 M.-% of binder (cement and fly ash)
