SikaPaver® HC-339

Compaction aid for large semi-dry concrete elements

SikaPaver® HC-339 is a compaction aid which has been designed to improve the filling behavior and compaction properties of large precast elements made of semi-dry concretes with instant demolding.

  • Granular mold-filling properties despite high water contents
  • Intensive compactability for highest strength
  • Less quality variations and consequently less second grade products
     SikaPaver® HC-339 improves the dispersion and wetting of cement, additives and pigments and hence allows reaching the target density in shorter time or the reduction of pore content at the same compaction effort.

Blend of Ligno, PCE and Surfactants

Shelf life

12 months from date of production if stored properly in original, unopened packaging. After prolonged Storage, agitate the product before using.

Storage conditions

Protect from frost, intense sunlight and contamination. In case of bulk delivery, the tanks and equipment used must be clean.

Application Information

Dispensing

SikaPaver® HC-339 shall be added with the mixing water or introduced at the end of the mixing process.

The necessary mixing time after the admixture dosage depends on the individual mixer.

Restrictions

Before use suitability tests must be performed.

Sufficient compaction of the concrete is essential to ensure the targeted performance parameters of the manufactured semi-dry concrete elements. For further information and advice, please contact our Technical Service Department.

The use of SikaPaver® HC-339 in wet cast concrete is not suitable.
