Usage

SCHÖNOX HP RAPID is suitable:
For two-layer application

on moisture-resistant substrates with increased residual moisture

  • up to 4,5 CM-% on unheated cement screed
  • up to 3,0 CM-% on cement screed with floor heating
  • up to 6,0 wt.-% on concrete (kiln drying testing necessary)
  • up to 4,5 wt.-% on heated concrete (kiln drying testing necessary)

For one-layer application as a primer

  • to improve adhesion on smooth and sound substrates
  • to improve adhesion on various old substrates as a protective membrane against moisture out of auxiliary products by substrates sensitive to moisture (e.g. xylolite screeds, residues of spent sulphite liquor adhesives)
  • to solidify the upper rim zone of screeds
  • as a protective membrane against moisture out of tile adhesives by substrates sensitive
  • to moisture (e.g. anhydrite screeds, anhydrite flowing screeds)
