SCHÖNOX® TSD

Sound insulation mat

is a crack-bridging decoupling and sound insulation mat consisting of pure rubber granules, which provides an optimum bond to SCHÖNOX tile installation products. SCHÖNOX TSD 3 mm is used indoors. Ideal for renovations and new buildings. Only 3.0 mm thick.

Usage

SCHÖNOX TSD 3 mm is suitable for:

  • improvement of impact sound under ceramic coverings, natural- and artificial stones
  • uncoupling of ceramic coverings on stable substrates
  • uncoupling of natural stones with a minimum thickness of 15 mm on stable substrates
  • SCHÖNOX TSD 3 mm can also be used in normal loaded wet areas according to the ZDB-leaflet in connection with SCHÖNOX bonded sealings (Gluing of SCHÖNOX TSD 3 mm necessary).
  • SCHÖNOX TSD 3 mm is used in living- and commercial areas with normal residential load up to a working load of 2.0 KN/m².
  • For use in commercial areas with higher load ask for special advice.
  • For expected higher loads ideal in combination with SCHÖNOX PZG armour reinforcment. Therefore embed SCHÖNOX PZG on SCHÖNOX TSD 3 mm in filler.
