Tiles are among the most popular and widely used floor coverings in German
households. With an almost limitless variety of colors, countless formats, and
diverse materials, they offer unparalleled design and color versatility. Thanks
to our carefully selected and universally applicable products, you can tile
your floors or walls professionally and durably in just a few simple steps, whether
in the bathroom, kitchen, or living room.
The perfect start
Every project starts with a well-prepared substrate. The substrate must be structurally sound, free of cracks, clean, and capable of bearing weight. Please ensure that oil stains and any residues that could impair adhesion, such as cement paste and dirt, are thoroughly removed.
Use PCI Gisogrund All-in-One on absorbent substrates to increase adhesion and prevent adhesives and fillers from drying out too quickly. Treat non-absorbent or very smooth substrates with PCI Gisogrund Xtra Grip to achieve a non-slip surface and thus increase adhesion.
From uneven to even
To quickly and easily level an uneven substrate, we recommend using one of our two leveling compounds. Both products—PCI Uniplan, suitable for layer thicknesses of 3 to 40 mm, and PCI Uniplan Plus, ideal for layer thicknesses from 0 to 15 mm—are self-leveling and easy to apply. With either product, you can achieve an optimal, flat surface, ready for the next application steps.
Waterproofing is a must
In rooms exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms and showers, you must protect the substrate against moisture penetration before tiling. In a private environment, you can either use a liquid applied waterproofing membrane (PCI Lastogum Dicht) or a combination of waterproofing membrane (PCI Pecilastic W) and the corresponding waterproofing adhesive (PCI Pecilastic Roll & Go) .
We also recommend this system for areas with higher moisture exposure or for
outdoor applications. Our sealing portfolio is complemented by selected accessories such as sealing tapes, sealing sleeves and prefabricated internal or external corners. With these, you may integrate corner and connection joints, pipe penetrations and floor drains.

The optimal connection
For professional craftsmen, there is a wide range of specialized tile adhesives for nearly every tile size and material. We have simplified this complexity in our DIY portfolio, yet you will still find the perfect solution for your tiling project with one of our four tile adhesives. You can choose from PCI Flexkleber 400 – our “all-rounder”, PCI Flexkleber 300 – our “grand master”, PCI Flexkleber 200 our specialist for tailing on walls, to our “basic tile adhesive” PCI Flexkleber 100.

The joints are the final touch and, alongside the choice of tiles, an important design element in your project.
