Operational EHS Support

  • Support daily EHS activities at site, including but not limited to:
    • Safety Walks, Safety Talks, EHS Tour
    • Permit-to-Work monitoring (hot work, work at height, lifting, confined space, etc.)
    • Contractor safety supervision during construction, installation and maintenance works
  • Monitor compliance with EHS rules during high-risk activities and report unsafe acts/condition

Contractor & Site Safety Management

  • Conduct contractor EHS induction and toolbox talks.
  • Support contractor EHS evaluation and on-site monitoring.
  • Follow up corrective actions related to contractor safety performance.

Risk Assessment & Incident Prevention

  • Support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) activities.
  • Participate in incident and near-miss reporting, investigation and follow-up actions
  • Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

EHS Compliance & Documentation

  • Support implementation of EHS minimum requirements and site EHS procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining EHS records, permits, inspection checklists and reports.
  • Update and follow up EHS actions in SpheraCloud or other reporting systems.
  • Support internal inspections, audits and authority inspections as required.

Emergency Preparedness & Equipment

  • Support inspection and readiness of emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, spill kits, first aid kits, eye wash stations, etc.).
  • Participate in emergency drills and EHS campaigns/events (e.g. Safety Day).

Training & Awareness

  • Support EHS training activities and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • Assist in preparing EHS communication materials (posters, safety reminders, toolbox topics).

Other Duties

  • Perform other EHS-related tasks as assigned by the EHS Supervisor / Admin & EHS Manager.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge & Skills
    • Basic knowledge of EHS regulations and site safety practices.
    • Familiarity with risk assessment, work permits and contractor safety.
    • Knowledge of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is a plus.
    • Able to work on-site and support multiple activities in parallel.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Languages: Vietnamese speaking, Basic to intermediate English is an advantage.
  • Personality Traits:
    • Practical, hands-on, and safety-minded.
    • Good communication and coordination skills.
    • Responsible, proactive, and able to work under supervision.

SHUTTLE BUS TO SIKA BAC NINH PLANT

The company provides a shuttle bus service for employees Monday through Friday. The morning route picks up at 6:30 AM from Cau Giay - Thanh Xuan - Hoang Mai - Gia Lam, and Bac Ninh. The return trip to Ha Noi is at 4:30 PM.

Sika Vietnam is seeking a dedicated EHS OFFICER (Contractor*, 12 months) to support daily Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) operations at the Bac Ninh site, ensuring effective on-site supervision, contractor safety management, and compliance with company EHS requirements and local regulations under the guidance of the EHS Supervisor/Manager.

* This position is a fixed term contract employee hired under and paid by 3rd party outsourcing service.
